3Dsensation

As one of the winners of the programme "Twenty20 - Partnership for Innovation" that was announced by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research, 3Dsensation received federal funding of approximately 45 million Euros for research collaborations on 3D image capturing, processing, and visualization.

The consortium currently comprises 20 research institutes, which collaborate with over 60 companies to combine the expertises in optics/photonics, IT/software engineering, and electronics with competencies in design, neuroscience, cognitive science, and ergonomics. The research network aims to increase the potential of 3D imaging technologies in the cutting-edge areas of information, production, mobility and security.
